Dr Erika Tait

Dr. Erika is a dedicated female General Practitioner with a special interest in women's health. Based in the heart of Douglas Village, Cork, she recently opened her own solo GP practice, offering compassionate, personalised care in a calm and welcoming environment. She completed her SPECIALIST GP training in the MIDWEST GP Training Scheme, graduating in 2023. Dr. Erika is passionate about providing holistic care for women at every stage of life, with particular focus on reproductive health, contraception, menopause support, and preventative care.

This new GP practice comes in response to the area's expanding population and the clear demand for more healthcare options.

Practice Manager and Phlebotomist - Rena Doran

Rena is an accomplished Practice Manager with a strong background in healthcare, emergency response, and leadership. A graduate of University College Dublin with a diploma in Military Medicine, she is also a qualified EMT

With 15 years of distinguished military service, she gained extensive experience as a medic aboard naval vessels, providing critical care in high-pressure environments and managing medical operations at sea. Her career has equipped her with exceptional clinical expertise, resilience, and organizational skills.

In her current role, she combines her frontline medical knowledge with proven management abilities to ensure the smooth operation of the practice, the highest standards of patient care, and strong team coordination.
